Superfood, an exhibition at Gallery Aferro in Newark, New Jersey opens this Saturday, April 11th. The show includes work artists who participated in the Wonder Women Residency, including Jacquelyn Strycker (AP Staff). Her project “MIXT TAPES | MIX TAPES,” refers to Catalan small plates and snacks, as well as compilations of songs recorded onto the now antiquated cassette tape format, and is a participatory event that includes homemade tapes of both sorts, along with objects whose creation was inspired by food and music.
